He received his PhD in theoretical computer science at the University of Bath, and has worked as a researcher in cognitive science at the universities of Cambridge and Lancaster.

Kangning completed a MMath degree in Mathematics and Statistics at Jesus College, Oxford. She enjoy technology, travelling, running and like to meet people that share the same interests. She is currently working on developing interpretability of self-supervised representation learning in medical image, with a focus on ultrasound image, at the IBME, Oxford.
